Sofia Dance Week 2008

Sofia Dance Week started in 2008 as the first international festival of contemporary dance in Bulgaria. The premiere edition presented both emerging artists and established professionals from Bulgaria and abroad.
The event’s original mission was to introduce contemporary dance to broader local audiences. The festival has set the goal to put itself on the European festival map and to line up with the best events in the field.
