Program 2026
One Dance Festival turns 18. This edition features three premieres and four co-productions that pose urgent questions. How can we belong to society while remaining true to ourselves? Why must we remember history and celebrate the present? When will we confront ecological collapse, the lessons we’ve ignored, and the delusional masquerade of the online world.
Through dance, revolution becomes a colourful carnival, protest turns into shared energy, and homecoming becomes a confession with a sense of humour. On stage, the future and the past, progress and ruin, entertainment and propaganda meet. We travel from Plovdiv to clearings in the African jungle, from digital noise to Byzantine hymns.
