Program 2026
One Dance Festival 2025 ended with shared emotions, vivid memories, and a few tears. For the 17th time, the festival became a reason for bodies to dance in Plovdiv, with three Bulgarian premieres and the latest from the global contemporary dance stage. It began with the French neon pulse of the night and concluded with a vibrant Brazilian fiesta of life on the edge – both performances showed how strong we are when we are together. We witnessed the Greek joy of pure dance, winking at the forms of Christos Papadopoulos, the first recipient of the international Rose Award. We opened the door to the monstrous territory of fears, to the digital world as dystopia and as a way of communication, to collective empathy, and to the dances of tomorrow.
We thank all our audiences – we do it for you. And to the incredible artists, who burn with dance so that the spark that drives us forward never fades.
Heartfelt thanks to all our partners: Plovdiv – European Capital of Culture 2019, Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria, National Culture Fund, Lachezar Tsotzorkov Foundation, Ministry of Tourism, Municipality of Plovdiv, Onassis Stegi, Sofia Airport, Capital, Dnevnik, Katra FM, Sofia Live Club, Gaillot Chocolate, Vista Clinic, bTV Radio, NJOY, New Bulgarian University, Domino’s, Borovets, Hellà Metàl, KEVA, and Devin.
